Design Hire is seeking a remote experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in data centre construction to lead projects from planning through completion. This role joins an established construction company that values teamwork, quality, and dependable project delivery.

The successful candidate will bring leadership and technical expertise to ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and safety expectations while coordinating multiple contractors, vendors, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Data center construction experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
• Leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret technical plans and specs.
• Strong safety, quality, and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center construction projects, developing schedules, tracking milestones, and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, procurement, contracts, and change orders to maintain financial control and minimize delays.
• Coordinate MEP installations while reviewing construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee documentation and progress tracking using Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6, and coordinate the integration of access control and CCTV systems.
• Manage testing, start-up, and commissioning activities, including coordination of BMS and EPMS through final turnover.
