Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will guide pre-construction and construction, ensuring safety, schedule and quality while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in large projects, a Bachelors in Engineering/CM, NFPA70E knowledge, BIM capabilities, and strong communication. Qualifications

12+ years in large building or civil projects.
Experience leading Data Center project teams.
Knowledge of NFPA70E and construction scheduling.
Ability to read contract documents, drawings, and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement safety culture and drive compliance with Jacobs Beyond-Zero.
Perform constructability reviews and pre-construction planning with cost/schedule focus.
Develop and implement construction schedules and micro-scheduling.
Lead commissioning planning and related activities.
Demonstrate ability to lead Data Center projects $10M TIC or greater.
Direct field staff of 5 or more professionals; coordinate meetings.
Explore modularization and prefabrication approach and solutions.
Review and approve contractor and vendor execution plans.
Monitor progress daily and provide detailed owner/Jacobs reporting.
