Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to become the technical voice for our largest Retail and CPG accounts. You will define and direct technical strategy alongside an Account Executive, driving adoption of Databricks across the customer’s analytics landscape.

You will work with hands-on resources to prototype and demonstrate Databricks' capabilities while focusing on ML/AI use cases in Retail and CPG, building a network of technical champions and aligning solutions with

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in very large Retail/CPG accounts (> $1m ARR).
• 4+ years in a pre-sales role or supporting sales activity.
• Strong technical background in big data, data science and cloud.
• Proven ability to drive data-driven business transformation.
• 4+ years designing and implementing big data technologies (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP) or end-to-end data science solutions.
• Production coding experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Databricks certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for Databricks with 1–5 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy within the account with a deep understanding of the strategy.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
