Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead production‑grade solution delivery, including reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion and ML/AI model integration.
• Guide transformational big data projects from end to end, scoping with customers and engagement managers.
• Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and ensure adoption of Databricks solutions.
• Own architecture decisions to ensure secure, scalable outcomes aligned with customer needs.
• Collaborate with Databricks engineering, PM, and support teams to deliver value and provide product feedback.
• Travel to customer sites up to 20%.
