Job summary

Databricks is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with customers, delivering production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own architecture, drive design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

The role is hands-on and customer-facing, demanding engineering excellence, adaptability, and strong communication to ensure measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and MLOps.
• Ability to design end-to-end data architectures and AI integrations within Databricks solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade delivery of customer solutions on Databricks platform.
• Guide end-to-end design, build and deployment of data and AI applications.
