Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data and AI solutions for customers. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver production-ready systems spanning data engineering, AI, and applications on the Databricks platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• Familiar with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI models.
• Ability to design end-to-end data architectures and apps.
• Experience delivering technical projects with measurable outcomes.
• Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
• Willingness to travel 20%.
• Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and lead design decisions for end-to-end Databricks solutions.
• Work with customers to productionize data & AI challenges on the Databricks platform.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and developer relations.
• Train and support client systems and integrations as needed.
• Deliver projects with exceptional customer empathy and measurable outcomes.
