Job summary

McMillen, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join our team.

This role offers the option to work fully remote with flexible hours for the right candidate, requires a PE license, and 15+ years of dam safety and regulatory experience. You will lead dam safety evaluations, manage client relationships, and mentor staff while advancing diverse hydroelectric projects under FERC Part 12D guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE with strong background in civil, structural, hydrological or geotechnical engineering for FERC dam safety.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience including FERC Part 12D and dam safety evaluations.
• PMF/L2RA facilitation experience and ability to lead client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety work and inspections under FERC guidelines.
• Lead or participate in PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Manage dam safety evaluations and prepare reports.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project scheduling and proposals.
