Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join their team in the United States. This role focuses on conducting dam safety evaluations and requires a licensed Professional Engineer with significant experience in hydrological, geotechnical, and structural evaluations. The position may be fully remote with flexible working hours.

Additional responsibilities include performing inspections, leading workshops, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of engineering consulting experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of design software.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience, including FERC dam safety evaluations.
• Active PE License required.
• Excellent communication skills needed for proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Perform FERC Part 12D inspections for dam safety.
• Lead PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Write dam safety reports including DSSMRs and O&M Manuals.
