Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Cybersecurity Engineering team. You will design, implement, optimize, and support SSE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler technologies across a large enterprise workspace.

The role requires hands-on expertise, leadership, and clear communication of risks and solutions. You will work across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security initiatives, guiding architecture to production stabilization and handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field required.
• Hands-on experience with SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler technologies preferred.
• Strong networking, security architecture, and operational troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
