Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise security technologies across a large environment. You will lead architecture decisions and drive SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler initiatives while collaborating with network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, architecture ownership, and production stabilization with strong communication of risks and recommendations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• Hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience with SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, cloud security, or related tech.
• Certifications such as Zscaler, CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, Microsoft Security/Azure, CISSP or Security+ preferred.
