Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Engineering team. You will design, implement, and support SSE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler across a large enterprise environment.

You will lead complex security projects from architecture through production, partnering with network, cloud, identity, and endpoint teams, and communicating risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or related field.
• Strong hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience with SSE/SASE and Zero Trust.
• Experience with Zscaler technologies (ZIA/ZPA) and network security is essential.
