Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise security tech across a large environment. You will focus on SSE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler, while collaborating with security, networking, cloud, and identity teams.

You will lead complex security implementations from architecture through production handoff, emphasizing risk, dependencies, and operational considerations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred.
• Extensive hands-on SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, and network/cloud security experience.
• Zscaler technologies (ZIA/ZPA/ZCC/ZDX) experience preferred.
• Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting across TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs.
• Experience with identity and cloud technologies (AAD, SAML, OAuth, MFA).
• Proven ability to lead complex security implementations from design to production handoff.
