Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Cybersecurity Engineering team to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise security technologies across a large, complex environment. The role emphasizes SSE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler technologies while collaborating across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security initiatives.

The ideal candidate leads complex problems from architecture to production handoff and drives secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience with SSE/SASE and Zero Trust.
• Experience with Zscaler technologies such as ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX is preferred.
• Strong networking, cloud, identity, and endpoint security knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise security technologies.
