Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to be seated 100% on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD IA policy expertise.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01.
• Privileged users must achieve T-5/T-R in JPAS and complete OS/CE training within six months of start date.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, DoD IA policies, and the ability to communicate clearly in written and oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and coordination for DoD cyber efforts across classifications.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Design and document cybersecurity system engineering for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gaps, and threat analyses for combat systems.
• Use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
