SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements, conduct threat analysis, and lead strategies to counter evolving threats in naval combat systems. The position offers a competitive compensation range of $125,000 to $195,000 USD annually, with comprehensive benefits and ESOP.

Qualifications

Five (5) years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems, or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
Minimum DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II or higher certification.
Privileged users must have T-5/T-R adjudication in JPAS and OS/CE training within six months of start date.
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination for multiple classification levels.
Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
Perform cybersecurity analysis of policy gaps for combat systems.
Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, and risk mitigation for combat systems.
Develop or use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
