Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The role is 100% on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA and requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. US citizenship is required for clearance.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II (or successor) certification.
• Privileged users must have final adjudicated T-5/T-R with IT level-1 in JPAS and complete OS/CE training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies addressing emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis, and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analyses, threat analyses, and MBSE models for cybersecurity.
