Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and extensive experience in cybersecurity across combat systems.

The candidate will develop requirements, conduct threat analysis, lead strategy meetings, and deliver risk assessments to strengthen defense capabilities. US citizenship is required for clearance.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems, or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II (or higher) certification or successor.
• Understand DoD IA policies for land-based and afloat/tactical systems and be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies to meet emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Develop or use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
