Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship to access classified programs.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements for combat systems, lead groups, and perform risk analyses and MBSE modeling to counter emerging threats. This position offers substantial responsibility, a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $195,000 and extensive

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II per DoD 8570.01, or successor.
• Privileged users must achieve and maintain T-5/T-R adjudication with IT level-1 in JPAS; OS/CE training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies to meet emerging threats.
• Perform analysis of cybersecurity, intelligence and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation of combat systems.
• Develop cybersecurity risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Develop documentation of cybersecurity requirements, gap/threat analysis, system engineering, risk assessment and mitigation for combat systems.
• Develop or use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
