SimVentions in the United States is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role focuses on developing cybersecurity requirements, policies, and risk mitigations for combat systems and military platforms.

Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with IAT Level II certification, and experience in DoD IA policies. This position offers substantial compensation and employee ownership through ESOP.

Qualifications

• Five years of program-specific security engineering for Navy afloat/tactical systems or ten years general security engineering.
• IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570.01 or successor.
• Privileged user handling requires JPAS adjudicated T-5/T-R with IT level-1 designation and related OS/CE training.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and procedures for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination for multi-level DoD efforts.
• Lead groups to develop strategies addressing emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Design, analyze, and document cybersecurity for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment and mitigation plans for cybersecurity of combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, and system engineering artifacts.
• Use or develop MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
