Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to protect customer information systems and support the DevSecOps lifecycle. You will work with ISSEs, ISSMs, software developers, and government stakeholders to implement security controls and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.

The role involves implementing security technologies, incident response, vulnerability management, and audits to maintain secure configurations and risk posture across mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security controls and tools to protect enterprise systems and networks.
• Design, configure, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain security technologies (firewalls, HBSS/Trellix, EDR) and SIEM (Splunk).
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and RMF/ATO activities.
