Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer SME in the Intel Sector's ASBA to protect customer information systems and support DevSecOps across lifecycle stages. You will implement security controls, collaborate with ISSEs/ISSMs and developers, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

The role involves monitoring threats, conducting security assessments, and supporting vulnerability management, incident response, and security engineering activities to safeguard mission systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience implementing and managing SIEM tools such as Splunk.
• Experience supporting incident response, vulnerability management, and RMF/ATO activities.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CySA+, CEH, GCIH).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security controls and tools for enterprise systems and networks.
• Design and maintain security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM.
• Support incident response and remediation of cyber incidents and changes for security compliance.
• Audit systems for compliance with cybersecurity policies and secure baselines.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and engineering teams to integrate security into pipelines.
• Monitor advisories and threat intelligence to enforce secure configurations.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and remediation with system owners.
