Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer SME in its IS Analysis Solutions Business Area to design, implement, and maintain security controls protecting mission systems and networks.

The role collaborates with ISSEs, ISSMs, developers, and government stakeholders across the DevSecOps life cycle to harden systems, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with RMF, DIACAP/CS frameworks as applicable, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• MS degree and extensive cybersecurity experience required.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Experience with SIEM tools and network defense is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security controls for enterprise systems.
• Configure security technologies like firewalls and EDR tools.
• Monitor SIEM platforms and respond to threats and incidents.
• Support RMF/ATO processes and track POA&Ms with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into pipelines.
