Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to integrate security architecture across the IT life cycle and ensure secure systems and infrastructure. The role involves planning, designing, and validating security controls while collaborating with engineering, operations, and program teams to deliver trusted solutions for mission objectives.

The position requires strong technical problem-solving, experience with RMF artifacts, ICD 503, and DoD accreditation processes, plus a current secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; additional years accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience managing RMF artifacts and maintaining system ATOs and IATTs.
• 3+ years applying the Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for DoD accreditation.
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis, accreditation processes, RMF execution, and compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity artifacts for the program in a timely and accurate manner.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts for specific software development and engineering projects.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements to be included in product baselines.
• Assess and report on the cybersecurity posture of various systems.
• Develop and implement cyber mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.
• Manage cybersecurity policies, controls, and technologies for cloud environments.
• Create a framework for integrating security measures into design and implementation of software solutions.
• Identify and prioritize potential threats to systems, applications, or the organization.
• Monitor, track, and report on cybersecurity project status to stakeholders.
• Conduct scans to ensure vulnerability management compliance (DISA STIGs).
• Coordinate with Leidos PMO and customer stakeholders to prioritize cybersecurity tasks.
