Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and govern the company’s cybersecurity architecture. You will lead security strategy across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation while collaborating with senior leadership.

The role demands deep expertise in NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, and modern security controls, with a focus on incident response, vulnerability management, and third-party risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with Old Dominion's business objectives and security goals.
• Design secure IT environments, including network/cloud/endpoint security and IAM, with regulatory compliance.
• Oversee integration of security tools into the enterprise IT architecture and lead incident response initiatives.
