Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain a robust security architecture across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will lead risk assessments, develop governance, and guide incident response with cross‑functional teams.

You will influence security strategy, implement controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards while partnering with senior leadership to protect critical systems and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership/architect experience.
• Expert in security frameworks and enterprise risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including cloud and on‑premise.
• Oversee security tooling integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Perform risk assessments and enforce governance across the org.
• Develop incident response plans and lead response with teams.
