Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will lead security strategies, implement controls, and guide governance, incident response, and third‑party risk management.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to align security with business goals, oversee SIEM/IDS/IPS deployments, and mentor security engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and related standards
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy
• Design secure IT environments including cloud and on‑prem environments
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) into IT
• Lead vulnerability assessments and incident response activities
• Establish governance framework and third‑party risk management
