Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead security strategy, governance, and risk management to protect critical data and systems.

You will collaborate with executive leadership to define risk appetite and incident response, oversee SIEM/IDS/IPS deployments, and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO, PCI‑DSS, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field required.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and related standards.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, and secure dev practices.
• Proven ability to lead incident response and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture design for enterprise systems and cloud.
• Develop and maintain governance, policies, and standards.
• Oversee security tools integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Perform risk assessments and manage third‑party security.
• Coordinate incident response and post‑mortem activities.
