Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years in banking, technology, operations, or risk management.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven track record organizing complex initiatives.
• Adept with data analysis to derive insights.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LOD2) for Truist Protection Services and related consult to business units.
• Serve as SME and steward of Cybersecurity Risk Framework to identify, report and mitigate technology risks.
• Execute independent assessment of cybersecurity controls to ensure performance, security, and availability.
• Strengthen risk culture through management routines with technology teams and partners.
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line risk program execution.
• Monitor legal, regulatory, compliance and audit matters for assigned area.
• Lead complex projects with enterprise impact, providing informal leadership.
• Bridge risk, business, technology, and cybersecurity with strong technical acumen.
