Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced risk leader to oversee Technology Risk (LOD2) across IT domains and business units. You will partner with Enterprise Technology and stakeholders to advise on risk topics, challenge programs, and evaluate technology risk independently to safeguard performance, stability, security and service availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience.
• Strong business acumen, management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity to deliver value.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating credibility with management.
• Ability to organize and manage complex initiatives delivering executive level work.
• Comfort with data and applying analysis to derive value-add insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LOD2) for Truist Technology and related units.
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework.
• Assess maturity of technology and adequacy of technology controls.
• Foster proactive risk culture and collaborate with technology teams and partners.
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line risk program execution.
• Monitor regulatory, compliance and audit matters for oversight areas.
• Lead complex enterprise-scale projects and guide others.
• Bridge business and IT functions in matrix environments.
