Job summary

Truist is seeking a high-level risk management professional to serve as a second-line oversight leader for cybersecurity risk. You will partner with Protection Services and business units to identify, monitor, and mitigate technology risks, ensuring robust controls and defense capabilities across the Truist environment.

The role requires deep cybersecurity expertise, executive-level communication, and the ability to operate in matrix environments, balancing advisory and implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience navigating ambiguity to deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LOD2) for Truist Protection Services and related units.
• Act as SME for Cybersecurity Risk Framework; identify, report and mitigate technology risks.
• Assess maturity of technology and adequacy of cybersecurity controls to ensure business outcomes.
• Lead complex cross-functional risk projects with enterprise impact.
• Bridge risk, business, technology and cybersecurity functions between advisory and implementation roles.
