Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced information security leader to manage large, technical security programs. You will oversee threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and policy governance to protect technology assets and privacy.

You will guide IAM, data protection, and security technologies across the enterprise, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to prevent breaches and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in information security.
• Advanced knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and advanced security technologies.
• Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and forensic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead large information security projects aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Monitor access and deploy forensic tools for attack detection and investigation.
• Lead incident response efforts to manage security incidents.
• Define IAM, data protection, and security best practices across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prevent breaches.
• Update security policies and procedures to address emerging threats.
• Provide guidance and training to security teams.
