Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior contributor for second-line risk in Technology Risk, focused on independent oversight of cybersecurity risk across defense domains. You will partner with Protection Services and business units to identify, mitigate, and report technology risks within Enterprise Technology.

Role requires leading assessments of control maturity, challenging risk program outcomes, and collaborating with senior leaders to strengthen risk culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership.
• Able to manage complex initiatives and executive-level work products.
• Comfort with data analysis to derive insights.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LOD2) for technology risk domains.
• Partner with TPS teammates and stakeholders in oversight areas.
• Assess maturity of cybersecurity controls and resilience capabilities.
• Lead risk-management routines and interface with senior leaders.
• Review and challenge first-line risk program outcomes.
• Monitor legal, regulatory and audit matters for assigned areas.
• Lead complex projects with enterprise impact and cross-functional teams.
• Bridge risk, business, technology and cybersecurity functions.
