Truist is seeking an experienced information security leader to manage large, technical security programs aligned with organizational goals. You will conduct advanced threat analysis, vulnerability testing, and incident response to protect assets and ensure compliance with privacy laws.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, guiding access management, and updating security policies. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in security are required, with preferred master’s and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
• 7+ years of professional information security experience.
• Advanced knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance and security tech.
• Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response and forensics.

Responsibilities

• Lead large information security projects and programs aligned with strategy.
• Drive threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Monitor access and deploy forensic tools for detection and investigation.
• Head incident response efforts to manage security incidents.
• Guide identity access management and data protection enterprise‑wide.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to prevent breaches and threats.
• Integrate advanced security technologies to strengthen posture.
• Review/update security policies and compliance needs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to security teams.
