Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior risk governance leader to oversee fraud and authentication programs across digital, branch, and ATM platforms. The role focuses on strategic risk management, leadership of cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

You will direct relationships with business owners and technology leads, drive risk testing and escalations, and promote clear communication for executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance/business discipline.
• 10+ years in financial services, risk or operations.
• Deep knowledge of banking risk disciplines and regulations.
• Ability to manage complex, matrixed projects and ambiguity.
• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee fraud and authentication governance program.
• Lead cross-functional risk projects for DCXM.
• Manage relationships with business owners and tech leads for risk programs.
• Advise stakeholders on risk testing, approvals, and escalations.
• Monitor fraud system performance and mitigate risk.
• Foster cross-division collaboration and clear stakeholder alignment.
• Present difficult topics and pivot strategies when needed.
