Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AVP-level leader to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements within Cybe Detect and Respond. You will oversee onshore and offshore teams, ensuring high‑quality threat detection and incident response for major clients.

The role requires deep experience in security operations, managed services, and transformation programs, with strong leadership and communication skills. Travel up to 50% is expected, with sponsorship considerations noted.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics, including leading managed SOC or detection and response services.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity managed-services delivery, SOC operations, or transformation programs with client-delivery responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; strong technical foundation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for clients, ensuring SLA performance, data protection and continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities.
• Translate threat intelligence into detections, use cases, playbooks, and reporting; expand coverage with UEBA and anomaly detection.
• Set roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, including SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation, and SOAR capabilities.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams; oversee performance, development, escalation management, and complex incident investigations.
• Own engagement financial performance: margin, utilization, staffing, forecasting, executive reporting, and client relationships.
