Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AVP for Cyber Detect and Respond to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You’ll lead managers and analysts onshore and offshore to address advanced cyber threats, drive service evolution, and oversee client reporting and outcomes.

The role emphasizes end-to-end SOC delivery, roadmaps, and engagement governance in a fast-paced, global environment with significant travel and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics, including experience leading managed SOC or detection and response services
• 10+ years of experience leading cybersecurity managed-services delivery, SOC operations, or cybersecurity transformation programs with client delivery responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for assigned clients, including SLA performance and data protection
• Translate threat intelligence into detection logic, use cases, and client reporting; expand UEBA coverage
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services including SIEM modernization and SOAR capabilities
• Lead onshore and offshore teams; oversee performance, escalation, and investigations
• Own engagement financial performance, including margin, staffing, forecasting, and account planning
