Job summary

Deloitte’s Cyber Detect and Respond group in the United States is seeking an Associate Vice President to lead the delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You will manage onshore and offshore teams, drive detection and response improvements, and evolve service models to meet client needs.

You will oversee roadmaps, staffing, and client reporting while maintaining high standards of security excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics with leadership of managed SOC/detection and response services.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, mathematics, decision sciences, risk management, or engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% depending on client work.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for assigned clients, ensuring SLA performance and data protection.
• Translate threat intel into detection logic, use cases, and client reporting; expand UEBA and anomaly-based detection.
• Set and execute roadmaps for detect and respond services, including SIEM modernization and SOAR capabilities.
• Lead managers and analysts across onshore and offshore teams with performance and escalation management.
• Own engagement financial performance including margin, utilization, staffing, forecasting, and client relationships.
