Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Detect and Respond team is seeking an Associate Vice President to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You will lead onshore and offshore teams, translate threat intel into detection logic, and drive roadmaps for SIEM modernization and SOAR capabilities.

The successful candidate has 10+ years in security monitoring, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% to serve clients across industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics with SOC leadership.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity managed-services delivery with client-facing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, mathematics, decision sciences, risk management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed Security Operations Center (SOC) delivery for assigned clients, including SLA performance and data protection.
• Translate threat intelligence into detection logic, use cases, response playbooks, and client reporting; expand coverage with UEBA and anomaly detection.
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, including SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation, and SOAR capabilities.
• Lead managers and analysts across onshore and offshore teams; oversee performance, escalation, and incident investigation.
• Own engagement financial performance and governance, including margin, utilization, staffing, forecasting, and client relationships.
