Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Detect and Respond team seeks an Associate Vice President to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements, guiding onshore and offshore teams to defeat evolving threats.

In this role you will lead end-to-end SOC operations, translate threat intel into detection content, drive roadmap evolution, and manage client relationships, forecasting, and account planning, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics with SOC/DR leadership.
• Experience leading cybersecurity managed-services delivery and SOC operations with client delivery and staffing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for clients, including SLA performance and data protection.
• Translate threat intel into detection logic, use cases, and client reporting; expand coverage with UEBA and anomaly detection.
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation (SOAR).
• Oversee onshore and offshore teams, including performance, escalation, and incident investigation.
• Own engagement financial performance, governance, margins, staffing, forecasting, and client relationships.
