Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Lead Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional service to clients and act as the advanced escalation contact for waste treatment and disposal inquiries. The role includes handling orders, correspondence, issue resolution, and coordination with Sales, Operations, and Support teams.

You will mentor junior staff, manage documentation, billing inquiries, and transportation scheduling while upholding company standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a customer-facing role addressing customer needs.
• Experience in waste disposal, chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to clients via phone, email, or in person.
• Mentor Sr Customer Support Specialists on regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate data entry, records control, and form creation.
• Prepare shipping documents and DOT descriptions for shipments.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and manage invoicing and collections.
• Provide quotes and schedule trucking for waste transportation logistics.
• Assess waste profiles and pricing using TSDF location and customer type.
