Packaging Corp. of America is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity.

You will respond to customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, freight rates, and delivery dates; receive new orders and monitor the status of current orders. The role includes resolving complaints and billing adjustments, handling larger and more complex accounts, and coordinating with design, sales, and production teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a customer service role handling customer orders and building strong relationships.
• Experience handling orders on an order entry system and maintaining invoicing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and track assigned orders through scheduling.
• Consult with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate requests for product specifications, availability, shipping, quotations and estimates.
• Serve as a link between customer, design, sales and production teams to meet requirements including delivery dates.
• Maintain organized customer files and resolve billing issues with escalation when needed.
• May provide direction to other customer service representatives and back up the Customer Service Manager.
