Job summary

Packaging Corp. Of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver superior service and manage orders from entry to delivery.

You will respond to inquiries, handle pricing, freight rates, allocations, delivery dates, and monitor order status while supporting billing adjustments. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to high school diploma required.
• Two years of customer service experience with order handling.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and track assigned orders through scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.
• Communicate order status and pertinent activity to Sales Representatives and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate requests for product specifications, availability, shipping, quotations, and samples.
• Assist in resolving billing issues and customer complaints with escalation as needed.
• Manage on-hand inventory levels and reconcile to customer orders and forecasts.
