Job summary

Garrett Motion is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer who can independently manage customer interfaces and drive quality improvements. The role requires familiarity with PPAP processes and 8D problem solving, plus CSR awareness and core quality tools.

You will lead proactive risk mitigation, apply SPC/MSA know-how, and manage customer experiences while ensuring acceptance criteria and metrics are met. Strong communication with customers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BE / DME with Mechanical, Production, Automobile or Electronics background.
• 6–10 years of experience in a customer-facing quality role.

Responsibilities

• PPAP Approval – aware of 19 elements of PPAP.
• Knowledge of product development phases and risk mitigation actions.
• Proactive in identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions.
• In-depth knowledge of SPC, MSA and CP.
• Hands-on experience in customer complaint handling.
• Convergent with 8D methodology and CAPA.
