Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Customer Quality Engineer in Richardson, TX, onsite. You will build relationships with customers, monitor satisfaction metrics, and coordinate with operations to assess Mission Systems products and processes.

You will lead root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions to improve product quality. The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years experience (or 5+ with advanced degree) and the ability to obtain a secret clearance; AS9100 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required; 8+ years of experience, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree.
• Experience with Quality Systems, including AS9100 standards.
• Experience applying quality tools and methodologies.
• Experience managing customer satisfaction metrics and implementing corrective actions.
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure alignment with their requirements.
• Manage customer satisfaction metrics for assigned customers.
• Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to evaluate Mission Systems products and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for deficiencies and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements.
• Interpret customer requirements and assess compliance with the current Quality Management System.
• Respond to customer issues requiring corrective action or impacting satisfaction.
