Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Principal Quality Engineer to join the Customer Quality team in the Engine Control Systems business unit. You will drive customer satisfaction, improve product quality, and lead continuous improvement projects across global suppliers, communicating with executives and customers.

The role requires an advanced degree or STEM background, extensive RCCA/8D experience, and strong knowledge of quality systems. Travel up to 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree; advanced degree preferred for senior role.
• Experience with RCCA and 8D problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and AS9100/AS13100 basics is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Understand customer requirements and communicate key points to supply chain.
• Develop quality assurance plans and compliance documentation.
• Lead quality initiatives to reduce COPQ and escapes.
• Support customer presentations and audits.
• Analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with global supply chain to uphold quality.
