Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer to provide quality engineering support across programs, ensuring compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. You will impact Customer Satisfaction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive robust quality processes.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or STEM, AS9100/ISO9001 experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, Science, or Tech or 2 years in quality/manufacturing engineering OR 6 years engineering exp.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with procedures, specifications, standards, and engineering/manufacturing docs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking to improve material processing; minimize inspection; resolve defects.
• Perform data prep, analyses and reporting.
• Conduct product and process audits for standards compliance.
• Coordinate resolution of nonconforming material with Eng and Production Control.
• Support process improvements initiatives.
• Support PFMEA/analysis to prevent defects and mitigate risk.
• Support implementation of Quality Control Plans.
• Lead and support root cause and corrective actions.
• Manage alerts to prevent impact on product reliability and purge as needed.
• Handle dropped/damaged hardware processing and incident reporting.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Math/Science/Tech

Security clearance required

AS9100/ISO9001 knowledge
