Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Manager of Customer Engineering to lead a high-performing, quota-carrying team that acts as trusted technical advisors across the customer lifecycle.

You will partner with Regional Sales Leadership to execute go-to-market strategy, drive platform adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes for enterprise clients, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to scale impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing, leading, or mentoring customer-facing technical teams.
• Strong background in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure.
• Commercial experience in SaaS, revenue models, and sales cycles.
• Experience using telemetry and health metrics to guide performance.
• Excellent executive presence and communication with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing Customer Engineering team.
• Partner with Regional Sales Leadership to align resources and drive PoCs and architectural reviews.
• Oversee technical governance, onboarding, and platform adoption across accounts.
• Track performance against quotas and SaaS adoption metrics; manage churn risk and expansion.
• Champion AI automation to reduce admin friction and boost operator efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align roadmaps.
