Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Customer Engineering Manager for Texas. You will lead a quota-bearing team of Customer Engineers, aligning technical resources with sales goals and driving platform adoption for enterprise customers.

You will partner with Sales leadership to execute the technical go-to-market strategy, scale AI-assisted workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes while overseeing governance and cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

5+ years leading customer-facing technical teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineering).
Strong background in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS architecture.
Commercial acumen in revenue-aligned or quota-bearing environments with SaaS metrics.
Operational focus using telemetry and health metrics to drive performance and retention.
Excellent executive communication and ability to influence at the C-suite level.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high-performing, quota-carrying Customer Engineering team.
Partner with Regional Sales Leadership to drive go-to-market and revenue growth.
Oversee lifecycle governance, onboarding, and platform adoption for accounts.
Monitor performance against quotas and adoption metrics; drive time-to-value for customers.
Scale AI automation and internal workflows to reduce friction and boost productivity.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to relay customer feedback.
