Job summary

Cloudflare in Dallas seeks a Manager of Customer Engineering to lead a high-performing, quota-bearing team delivering trusted technical advisory across the customer lifecycle. You’ll partner with regional sales to drive platform adoption, PoCs, and enterprise outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years managing customer-facing tech teams, strong security and network expertise, and a proven ability to align technical work with business value while scaling AI-augmented workflows.

Qualifications

Leadership experience managing customer-facing technical teams.
Strong background in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure.
Commercial track record in revenue-aligned roles and SaaS metrics.
Experience using telemetry and health metrics to manage teams.
Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team of Customer Engineers.
Partner with Regional Sales Leadership to align resources with pipeline opportunities.
Oversee technical governance, onboarding, and platform adoption.
Monitor performance against quotas and SaaS adoption metrics.
Champion AI automation to scale team productivity.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
