Job summary

Cloudflare in Detroit, MI seeks a Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market strategy with enterprise customers. You will own discovery, architecture demos, PoCs, onboarding, and ongoing account health, operating as a quota-carrying technologist.

You will partner with Account Executives to translate product value into ROI, guide customers through adoption and expansion, and leverage AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil while delivering measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
Commercial mindset with SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and deliver architecture demos and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
Oversee onboarding and implementation, acting as primary engineering contact for the customer.
Own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with Account Executives.
Lead quarterly business reviews translating platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
